Modern Green succeeds on many levels. It was designed to be affordable to clients with a tight budget. The structure is made primarily of panels that are made by compressing wheat straw under high pressure. The result is a better-than-usual fire-proof structure and greater stuctural stability. Construction of the main structure was reduced to days instead of weeks.
By arranging spaces to take advantage of natural daylight and square footage, this home acquired a feeling of openness and warmth. The windows we chose for this project are mainly for industrial use, but give the interior spaces more concentration on the Colorado sky and surrounding mountains. |
